Our Community

Autism is a developmental disorder that affects a range of conditions such as challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. Founder & CEO of G.B.H. JR Enterprises Incorporated, Gerald Hearns, has had the pleasure of interacting with a young man by the name of David Brown that suffers from autism.

Gerald has been involved in David’s life as a mentor for thirteen years now. In 2014 when Gerald first launched his sock business called Get Beefy, he had the initial F.H.G. on the back side of the socks representing “FOR HIS GLORY.” This inspired David to want to learn more about business. Gerald mentored David and was apart of teaching him business oratorical skills, which later helped David communicate well during his high school graduation and interview to earn his first job at a Publix grocery store.

When a customer purchases an item from our company, 10% of each item will be donated to support autism within the communities. Gerald is now a member of Player Performance First, also known as PPF, Whereas one of the staff members son is autistic. There will be future events planned to support local schools and organizations that benefits students of autism.
